All you need is a crochet, some yellow, red and black yarn to follow this cute emoji crochet pattern.

Materials for the emoji:
- Yarn: YarnArt Jeans or Alize Cotton Gold
- Crochet: 2.5 – 3 mm, depends on how tight you crochet
- Sewing needle and scissors
- Stitch marker
- Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
- mr – magic ring
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- inc – 2 sc in the same stitch
- dec – single crochet 2 stitches together
- hdc – half double crochet
- sl st – slip stitch
- [12] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
- ( ) * x – repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated
Emoji crochet pattern:
Head:
(crochet with yellow yarn)
1. 6 sc in mr [6]
2. inc * 6 [12]
3. (sc, inc) * 6 [18]
4. (2 sc, inc) * 6 [24]
5-9. 24 sc [24] (5 rows)
10. (2 sc, dec) * 6 [18]
11. (sc, dec) * 6 [12]
12. (dec) * 6 [6]
Stuff with fiberfill, fasten off and weave in the ends.
Heart:
(crochet with red yarn)
Make a magic ring, ch 2, 1 hdc, 1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc, 1 hdc, ch 2, then sl st in the magic ring.
Tighten the magic ring, leave a long yarn to sew the heart to the head.
Make one more heart, then start assembling the emoji.
How to assembly the Emoji:
Sew the hearts between rounds 5-7 as the eyes, at about 1 stitch between hearts.
Embroider the mouth between rows 8 and 9, 3 stitches wide.
